Khin Thaung (54) started his career as a carpenter when he was 15. The first thing he ever made was a box where he placed a statue of Lord Buddha. "This has statue and the box is very close to me, I don't leave out of my sight ever," says Khin and adds "...its because of Buddha's blessings that my family still survived the cyclone."..Refugees from the 7th ward, Hlaing Thayar township take shelter in the Swethanlwin building shopping complex which is under construction and has acted as a small refugee centre outside of capital Yangoon, Myanmar.
