Local villagers take shelter at a community centre while security forces are seen provide security at Jowai village. On 8th May 200, suspected Zeme Naga groups attacked a Dimasa village and burnt down 10 out of 13 houses. In this act of violence, they spared the school and the community centre, where most of the families are taking shelter. Ethnic clashes are regularly taking place between Zeme Nagas and the Dimasa tribe in North Cachar Hills in Assam, India.
