The villagers from Mabauram village are seen patrolling and providing security to other villagers while they go to collect vegetables and other personal items from their burnt village. Ethnic clashes are regularly taking place between Zeme Nagas and the Dimasa tribe in North Cachar Hills. Suspected Dimasa group killed 2 youths (aged 16 and 14) and burnt 21 houses out of 25 in village Mabauram in the outskirts of Haflong, Assam, India.
